Recipe for Tangerine jelly

8 Servings, Calories – 528, Total Time – 35m, Prep Time – 15m

Ingredients

6 tangerines

1 litre water

3 lime

1 kilograms sugar

Preparation

To prepare this delicious jelly, peel the tangerines and cut them into small pieces. Make sure you remove all the seeds from the fruit. Take a large bowl and add water to it and then add the cut tangerines along with limes mix well and allow the tangerines to set in for a day.

Next day, put a deep-bottomed pan on medium flame and add the tangerine mixture to it. Bring it to a boil until the fruit becomes very soft and then add sugar to it.

Cook the tangerines till the jelly is firm and when done, switch off the burner. You can check, if the jelly is prepared or not by dripping the mixture on a cold plate. The Tangerine Jelly is ready to serve, enjoy with breads or desserts as you like.

Recipe for Tangerine Orange Cake

Calories – 409, Prep time – 20 m, Cook time – 40 m, Ready In 1 h

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix

1 (3 ounce) package instant lemon pudding mix

 3/4 cup tangerine juice

1/2 cup vegetable oil

4 eggs 1 teaspoon lemon extract

 1/3 cup tangerine juice

2/3 cup white sugar

1/4 cup butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 10 inch Bundt pan or line a muffin pan with paper cups.

In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix and instant pudding. Add the tangerine juice, oil, eggs and lemon extract, mix until well blended. Pour into the prepared pan or pans.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until the cake springs back to the touch. For cupcakes, bake for 15 to 17 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing from pan to cool completely.

In a small saucepan, combine the remaining tangerine juice, sugar and butter over medium heat. Stir frequently until the mixture is smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake or cupcakes.
