Rosemary Blueberry Smash

Blueberry is sweet, nutritious, and widely popular among fruit lovers. Often labeled as super-food, they are low in calories and incredibly good for health.

This was a winner. Another honey-based experiment, with the sweetness of blueberries and a bubbly kick.

‘Twas late on a Friday, and fresh blueberries were a dream. But there were frozen ones loitering…
Someone had also borrowed the shaker, so in reality, this was a stirring job at the bottom of a glass, with the muddled fruit/rosemary removed with a spoon. And decorations with frozen blueberries. At least the rosemary plant in my garden never fails me. With their significant levels of cell reinforcements, blueberries are invulnerable boosting superfoods which can help fend off contaminations, for example, colds and influenza.

Ingredients for making Rosemary Blueberry Smash:

1 oz fresh lemon juice, strained

rosemary sprig, stripped: 1

1 oz honey syrup

4 oz sparkling mineral water

Ice

7-8 blueberries

Instructions:

Gently muddle rosemary leaves,  blueberries, and honey syrup in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.

Add lemon juice and shake, covered, with ice strongly for 10 seconds.

Strain through a mesh strainer into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.

Top with sparkling water and stir.

Lastly, Serve
