Try this refreshing mango lassi and enjoy this summer.

Mango lassi

Use the ripest, sweetest, smoothest mangos available. This will make this yogurt-enriched Indian fruit shake. This sweet drink consists of the capabilities to be made a fine breakfast smoothie. Can also be used as a cooling accompaniment to spicy meals.

Ingredients

1 large ripe mango, peeled, pitted, and roughly chopped

3 cups plain yogurt (not Greek-style)

1⁄2 tsp. kosher salt

1⁄4 cup sugar

STEPS TO MAKE MANGO LASSI

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  • Puree until smooth.
  • Refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour.
  • Pour into glasses, and serve with a straw.
