9 THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO IN MAKEUP STORE

9 THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO IN MAKEUP STORE

Makeup store are pretty popular nowadays, so it will be no surprise that those who work there witnesses some great cringe worthy, and rude behavior along with some weird habits of customers.

So today we have tried to figure out 9 things that you should not do when shopping makeup or other beauty products.

DON’T APPLY TESTERS DIRECTLY ON YOUR FACE

Generally while making purchasing decision we all have come to a point where we want to see that how something will look on our face like trying shadow colour to liner and even sometimes lip colour. If yes then you should right now cut off this method of trial and error as the testers right there are available just for testing purpose and almost everyone just uses them for trying purpose and because of that it is not very hygienic to use the testers, also they are touched by a number of people, which make them a carrier of bacteria. So if you don’t wanna put your skin in threat of something dangerous, STOP applying it directly to your face.

YOU SHOULDN’T DESTROY OR VANDLIZE THE TESTERS, EITHER

We all know that testers are there just to test or try thing not for sale purpose also you don’t have to pay to use them and a lot of people think that they are just the extras or samples because of what they show their hidden artistic skills in them they just smear it on displays, just carve something in the shadow plate (for fun) or draw with eyeliner. But you will be shocked to know that those testers still get scanned out of inventory when they have to put new ones. So if anyone have just carve something or just destroy it for fun then in reality when damaged testers need to be swapped out with new ones, the store must pull an item from their inventory which means there will be less of that product on the shelves for customers to purchase.

So next time, just remember that if you show you art on displays rather than on canvas you may end up getting no match for your fav lip colour, liner or eye shadow.

DON’T PLAY WITH MAKEUP BRUSH AS THIS IS UNSANITARY AS WELL AS RUDE

Not in all, but in some big store there are stations where makeup artists can test the products on customers or give them makeovers and the point here is, you should not use or even touch them without their permission, it is said because they are expensive and need to be taken care of for hygiene maintenance purpose. There is one more thing apart from hygiene i.e. this is rude and disrespectful to use artist’s brush without their permission.

YOU SHOULD NOT GIVE YOURSELF A FULL-FACE MAKEOVER WITH TESTERS

The purpose of testers is they help you to decide if you want to purchase a product or not and definitely they are not for a complete full face of makeup. In reality there are actually some people who use those tester for actual make up purpose. We have already told you that those tester are not just for you, there are hundreds of people who touches them daily and I don’t think you should get yourself in something which is unhygienic and can cause you any kind of skin disease and also if you do that you may end up making huge mess and this is sure.

DON’T OPEN ANY PRODUCTS THAT AREN’T LABELED AS TESTERS

If you open something which is not labeled as tester and after opening, it you didn’t like it what you do? Buy it or just leave them right there, I am sure 98% of you choose the second option, but in reality you should not do that as I already explained that if you destroy something then store has to pull it out and keep a new one there and this happens in this case also as when you open something and leaves it there other customers may thinks it is used or waste because of what they prefer new packed ones and because of this reason store has to pull out that one also. It is just a waste not for you, but for store this matters a lot. So morally you should not do that instead you can ask an employee, they may be able to provide you with a sample or put a new tester in the shelf.

DON’T SHOW YOUR ANGER TO CASHIER WHEN COUPONS OR DISCOUNTS EXPIRE – IT’S NOT THEIR FAULT

This is never the cashier’s fault when coupons or discounts expire so it is not right to take your anger out on them. Employees are in reality not allowed to override a discount or coupon to make it work, either. They are just following orders, they didn’t make those coupons and didn’t even end them they are just following policies. So next time before blaming or showing your anger to them it’s better to remember it’s your fault, not there.

STOP BEING AFRAID TO RETURN PRODUCTS THAT YOU DIDN’T LIKE

Now this thing can be is quiet easy for things that we get online as if we don’t like them we just press return button and voila! You are done but in big store and makeup store you always feel like is it returnable, should I ask to return, should I change the product and you may end up putting not usable(as you didn’t like ) thing in your shelf. But you should know that there are a lot of thing which are returnable in stores, and if you ask the employee about returning the product, they will help you and guide you further. So, next time if you don’t like anything just don’t put it in trash ask for return and then get it refunded.

DON’T COMPLAIN TO EMPLOYEES ABOUT THE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT

You already must know that Price is not determined by store or employees themselves. The prices are actually determined on various aspects like its eco-friendly packaging, or its high end ingredients, also personal care products are generally pricey. So next time if you had any complain about price you should not blame the cashier or employee either as they are not the price settler.

STOP ASSUMING EVERY EMPLOYEE IS JUST TRYING TO SELL YOU THE MOST EXPENSIVE PRODUCT POSSIBLE

Now if you are someone who worked in supermarket or malls and even if you are not you must know the fact that they didn’t offer you any commission for sale of any specific product because they want to sell almost everything and even makeup store also follows the same rule, they also don’t offer such commission Also they are there to help you find the ideal product like if you have strict budget or some kind of allergy to any specific ingredient they will help you to find the perfect product as they know the store better than you. So, next time if any employee is trying to help you then let them because they are not making money out of it.
