Dry fruits are prepared from fruits after the removal of their majority water content. The removal of water takes place by the method of sun drying. Water levels might also be reduced with the application of dryers and dehydrators. These fruits are extremely beneficial for consumption as a part of the daily diet.

These are a rich source of proteins, fibres, and vitamins. They are also a rich source of energy. Thus, they give us energy and boost our stamina. Fibre content in them assure proper digestion.
