Shatavari capsules : 7 Benefits, applications, and side effects

Shatavari  is nothing but Asparagus Racemosus. These herbs have the medicinal trait of  helping our body cope with stress, both physically and emotionally. Moreover, the benefits of these are very unique.

  1. Antioxidant properties

They are useful for fighting free radicals, and manage oxidative stress. Apart from Saponin , they  are rich in Racemofuran. However, Some of the special antioxidants found are asparagamine A and racemosol .

  • Anti-inflammatory

Racemofuran is useful to cure problems related to inflammation. Moreover, the function of racemofuran is similar to that of CoX-2 inhibitor. Hence this property of the herb treats inflammation without any noticeable side effect.

Gastric ulcers can be cured by the usage of shatavari. Ulcers cause sores in our stomach, small intestine, and the esophagus. They can cause  painful experiences.

Ways to use :

  1. Use 4-5 mm of shatavari root tincture,  3 times in a day for good results
  2. Make a tea from 1 teaspoon of shatavari powder and 8 ounces of water 2 times in a day.
  3. A dose of shatavari as a tablet ranges to 500 mg 2 times a day. While the application of its root powder in tea or juice makes it 30 mg, in 3 days at the rate of 30 drops every day .
