Muscles are the soft tissues found in most animals. Moreover muscle cells mostly comprise of proteins, filaments of actin, and myosin. As a matter of fact the versatile nature of them are due to presence of myosin. Hence myosin is the main cause for them to gain strength and produce force and motion.

There are mainly three types of muscles in our body. All of them are classified into cardiac, smooth, and skeletal muscles. The cardiac muscles line up the wall of the heart. Moreover they appear to be striated. Smooth ones are present in the walls of visceral organs. They are spindle shaped and associates with involuntary organs. Skeletal muscles occur in the locations close to the skeleton. They appear in voluntary organs and have striations

Ways to keep muscles healthy

Exercising daily is a good way to keep fit. But an individual should also ensure proper health of a muscle. As a matter of fact having healthy muscles are good for gaining more and improving performance.

  1. Warming up and cooling down

Warming up is essential, 20 minutes prior to any exercise. This helps our muscles to get in touch. Brisk walking, jogging, and light weight training are all good warm-ups. Moreover cooling down can be as vital as warming up. It helps improve the recovery rate of our muscles.

  • Stretching

Stretching is a good option to avoid muscle tear. After the warm-up stretching can be effective. Moreover stretching allows them to reach their full range of motion. This is a good way to keep our tissues healthy.

  • Proper diet

A person follows a proper diet to observe promising results. The important ingredients that are essential for good muscle health are proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. Protein replenishes the calories lost during exercise, carbohydrates give us energy and insulin for our muscles to build. Unsaturated fats enhance muscle growth. Moreover including all these ingredients in diet provide us with vital minerals and essential vitamins.

  • Exercise regularly

Exercising is good for ensuring muscle strength. Hence all exercises that make our body work against the gravity will build muscles. They disintegrate when individuals don’t exercise.

  • Drink water

Always stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water is good for overall health, it assures proper blood flow, functioning of kidney. Drinking more water increase the supply of addition electrolytes to our muscles to improve its strength and control. Individuals who exercise regularly are advised to consume half a gallon of water every day. As, they lose water every day in the form of sweat while working out.
